I would like to publicly thank Rep. Tom Latham and Rep. Steve King for their no votes on the Wall Street bailout bill. Iowa's three other representatives voted yes on the bailout.
Latham has mentioned the calls he received at his Washington office before the bailout ran 100 to 1 against passing the bill.
Tom Latham's opponent in the coming election, Democrat Becky Greenwald, has gone on record saying that, had she been a member of Congress, she would have voted for the bailout.
Thanks Tom. You will get my vote on Tuesday, Nov. 4. |
