Ames, IA - Iowa Congressman Tom Latham's campaign launched their sixth ad of the 2008 campaign today with a television ad highlighting a list of Latham's work and accomplishments for Iowa's economy, our health security, veterans and military health care and fighting to protect taxpayer's money. The positive ad's primary message is that Tom Latham's steady leadership and accomplishments are a trusted resource during our nation's challenging times.
The script of the thirty second ad, titled "Steady & Trusted Leadership", follows:
ANNOUNCER: In challenging times, Tom Latham is fighting for Iowa.
Latham voted against the Wall Street bailout - protecting Iowa taxpayers.
He's working to keep taxes low and create good jobs.
Latham wrote bipartisan legislation to help nurses repay education loans - expanding access to quality care.
And Latham fought for and passed a bill to improve veterans' health care.
